Produced by Studio Gaina, the series Baban Baban Ban Vampire revolves around Ranmaru Mori, an ancient vampire, who resides at a traditional public bathhouse known as ‘Koi no Yu,’ to repay a debt of gratitude. This act of kindness was extended by the owner’s son, Rihito Tatsuno, who had previously rescued Mori from certain doom.
Before Rihito reaches the age of 18, Ranmaru intends to savor his blood, considered a rare treat among vampires. Yet, a twist occurs when Rihito develops feelings for a fellow classmate, potentially disrupting Ranmaru’s intentions. This humorous love tale combines classic vampire mythology with offbeat humor.
Episode 1 of “Baban Baban Ban Vampire” will present Rihito, a 15-year-old fourth-generation proprietor of a public bathhouse, and Ranmaru, his vampire employee at the establishment. We’ll also meet Aoi, who harbors feelings for Rihito. Intriguingly, Ranmaru makes an immediate visit to Aoi to shield Rihito from losing his purity.
In the upcoming episode of ‘Baban Baban Ban Vampire’, viewers will witness Ranmaru’s quirky attempts towards his objective. Prepare for a series of amusing and outlandish situations, including instances involving altered dreams. The first episode, titled ‘The Bathhouse Vampire’, is scheduled to air on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:30 pm JST in Japan.
The upcoming episode is set to air on the freshly introduced IMAnimation segment of TV Asahi, which can be found on BS Asahi and CS TV Asahi Channel 1. Notably, viewers from Japan as well as internationally will have the opportunity to stream this episode exclusively on Netflix.
