Is Piers Morgan Leaving Television To Start YouTube Venture? All We Know So Far

As a well-respected figure in global journalism, I’ve had the privilege of gracing many screens worldwide. Yet, as my current three-year journey with media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s UK operations reaches its end, speculation abounds about where I might land next.

According to Sky News, Piers Morgan has struck a deal with News UK that allows him to acquire control over the Uncensored media brand, which currently boasts 3.6 million YouTube subscribers. For those who may not be familiar, News UK is the proprietor of Times Radio and also publishes The Sun and The Times newspapers.

The deal has been struck between the News UK and Morgan’s production company, Wake Up Production.

Based on recent news, Piers Morgan has agreed to a four-year contract with News UK. This deal involves profit-sharing and gives the Murdoch firm a piece of the ad revenue from Piers Morgan Uncensored up until the year 2029.

In case you’re not aware, Piers Morgan re-joined News UK in January 2022, agreeing to a three-year contract. As part of this agreement, he will be contributing regular articles for both The Sun and New York Post newspapers, as well as hosting shows on the recently closed Talk TV network.

Based on information from some reliable sources, it appears that Piers Morgan could finalize a publishing agreement with HarperCollins, a company owned by Rupert Murdoch, as early as the end of this year.
