The revelation that Jessica Alba is divorcing her husband, Cash Warren, has sent shockwaves through the entire Hollywood movie scene. Earlier, she had shared insights about their long-term living arrangement, referring to themselves as “roommates.
On Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Instagram talk show, “Before, During, and After Baby,” in July 2021, the actress from Fantastic Four expressed, “For about two and a half years, everything is beautiful. However, following that period, you essentially live as roommates.
Over the course of their union, couples often find themselves taking on more obligations, resulting in a dynamic where the relationship seems focused on fulfilling duties rather than enjoying each other.
In her chat with the host, Alba confessed that she underestimated their partnership at times. She emphasized that they shared a deep friendship which made them feel secure enough to say, “You’re not leaving us.” Regrettably, there were moments when the actress failed to acknowledge her partner’s emotions.
“So that is something that I think is a constant thing to work on,” the Dark Angel actress added.
Additionally, the star noted that the pair often resolved their problems by openly discussing them and expressing their emotions when they felt upset.
According to a source who spoke to TMZ, Jessica Alba and her spouse have decided to part ways and are currently in the process of divorcing, having been married for approximately 17 years.
It remains unclear what led to their divorce, but it’s important to note that they share custody of their three kids: two daughters, Honor (age 16) and Haven (age 13), and a son named Hayes.
