In her conversation with Southern Living magazine, published on January 8, the singer of “Jolene” spoke about the fame she accumulated throughout her career and acknowledged that at moments it felt incredibly unreal in the most wonderful sense.

She shared with the media outlet that she feels like a star to everyone except herself. The country artist admitted that while she’s always aspired for fame, she never anticipated it would reach this level. “I’ll come across an entire wall filled with my photos somewhere, and I’ll wonder ‘How did this happen?’ It’s more a source of joy than shock,” she further explained.
