‘Yeezy Over Everything’: Kanye West Accuses Adidas of Burying His Website in Google Search Results

Kanye West isn’t known for keeping quiet or hiding his thoughts. Just as before, he demonstrated this recently. This occasion was marked by him speaking up against Adidas, following a Google search that omitted the Yeezy website, which is under his ownership.

Using his unique approach, Kanye West posted on Instagram a snapshot of Adidas’s website leading Google search results for “Yeezy.com”. In a detailed description accompanying the post, he pointed out that when people searched for his website, Adidas’s German sportswear site appeared ahead of his own.

The rapper spoke directly to members of Adidas, urging them to cease actions hindering him. Looking back on their past collaboration, he declared the partnership concluded and accused Adidas, a multibillion-dollar company, of freezing his accounts following their association with the Flashing Lights singer.

The Heartless rapper asserted that he had put in outstanding efforts for Adidas, but when he voiced his own concerns, they were reportedly trying to intimidate and suppress him. Moreover, it was common knowledge that there had been ongoing problems between him and the brand over design theft and oppression even before recent public statements.

Not only did he not halt, but he also made mention of designer Jerry Lorenzo, who it is said has entered into a cooperative agreement with Adidas, via his label Fear of God, as reported by Hypebeast.

The hip-hop artist spoke negatively about Lorenzo, labeling him as “cheesy” and “unreliable,” due to his partnership with Adidas following claims of mistreatment by the company. He also announced his intention to attend Lorenzo’s performance, which he alleged was a replica of his own Hollywood Bowl show, while expressing that he was being “the so-called bigger person.” Yet, Kanye West clarified that he would no longer tolerate such behavior in the future for anyone.

As a loyal devotee, I’d express it this way: “I’ve been in the game long enough to know who’s real and who’s not. Those who posed next to me, claiming to be friends while also running their own fashion lines, were merely capitalizing on my brand – promoting their inferior imitations of Yeezy. They never shared my drive or ambition to support the king.

In a subsequent remark, the more powerful rapper stated, “They aimed to exploit the monarch – earn higher wages than elsewhere – act subservient and be content whenever we didn’t achieve our objectives. Now they’ve been exiled. NO MORE AFFECTION. Yeezy takes precedence. I’m not here to serve others. I am here to conquer, as I always have. The Yeezy $20 price point is setting the fashion world ablaze, leaving only Yeezy standing. Everyone recognizes the excessive pricing in luxury fashion.

West shared that his site generated a staggering $100 million in its first year, even though it was active for just six months. To maintain control over his Shopify account, he temporarily shut down the site after those initial six months. He added that there were certain people trying to undermine him by giving him the impression that self-success wasn’t possible.

In simpler terms, they mentioned that they successfully sold more than a million sets of these pods, and for the past two years, they’ve been developing an extra 10 unique designs.

The artist finished off his caption by penning, “Yeezy belongs to the people. Anything else was just an obstacle. Feel free to point out any grammatical mistakes in the comments; I’ll be sure to make corrections.
