Tom Holland and Zendaya are behaving like a happily engaged couple, with their secret engagement reportedly happening sometime between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The news was officially confirmed on January 5 during the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, as Zendaya appeared on the red carpet flaunting a beautiful 5-carat diamond ring on her left hand. Prior to their covert engagement, according to TMZ, they both got secret matching tattoos at the Boston Tattoo Company in Massachusetts on November 27.

At the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, spectators spotted Zendaya’s ‘t’ tattoo just above her ribcage. Simultaneously, it was reported that the Spider-Man actor had a ‘z’ tattoo placed on his own ribcage.

The duo apparently received a special deal at the tattoo studio, which normally requires a minimum of $150 per session. Instead, they paid $100 for each design or tattoo.

At Boston Tattoo Company, the team informed TMZ that the pair, accompanied by their mother Claire, all stopped by to get tattoos.

Since 2021, Tom Holland and Zendaya have been in a relationship, having first met on the set of Spider-Man. Over time, there had been talks about marriage between them, but as reported by Page Six, Zendaya was unaware that Holland was planning to propose. Due to their shared emphasis on privacy, it seems that the couple’s choice to keep their engagement a secret didn’t necessitate any conversation about it.

Prior to making a proposal, it is said that Holland requested approval from Zendaya’s parents. They are overjoyed about their upcoming union.
