As a die-hard Toy Story aficionado, I can hardly contain my excitement after Tim Allen dished out some tantalizing tidbits about the forthcoming chapter in this beloved saga! The man himself made an appearance on Good Morning America, where he generously shared some juicy details about the intriguing plot of this highly anticipated sequel.
At first uncertain, Allen ended up revealing slightly too much information. Notably, the lead actor from Last Man Standing is renowned for his performance as Buzz Lightyear in Pixar films, and he’s garnered a lot of admiration for it.
Speaking about the upcoming movie, the actor hinted, “I’ve started working on it and currently find myself in the third part. The work they’re doing is truly astounding. Although Pixar didn’t forbid me from discussing details, I wish I could share more! There’s a lot of mystery surrounding Buzz Lightyear. Jessie is facing some serious trouble and needs assistance, so it promises to be an exciting development.
He also added, “I’ve always been a fan of science fiction, and when I watch Star Wars, I often wonder if they took things too far. Some viewers feel the same way about Toy Story 4.
Last year at the D23 expo, the creators unveiled the upcoming movie, with it being revealed that Andrew Stanton (notable for his work on films such as Wall-E and Finding Nemo) would be directing this latest project.
At Pixar Studios, they’ve skillfully kept under wraps many aspects of the plot, allowing curious fans to unravel the mystery behind Jessie’s role in the narrative.
1) The film will premiere in cinemas starting from June 2026. You can watch the earlier Toy Story movies on Disney+’s streaming service.
