Sony is planning to introduce another gaming universe onto cinema screens, as reported by IGN. It appears that Horizon Zero Dawn, a well-known post-apocalyptic world, will soon be transformed into a movie, thanks to a partnership between PlayStation Studios and Columbia Pictures. This collaboration aims to bring this iconic world to the big screen. The announcement was made at CES 2025, and currently, the project is in its earliest stages of development.
It’s common knowledge that when companies promise something, it doesn’t always mean it will definitely occur. We’ve witnessed numerous films and series getting canceled at the last minute due to various factors. However, given the immense popularity of Aloy’s machine hunting adventures in Horizon Zero Dawn, there’s a chance this movie might escape such a fate.
