This coming Winter of 2025 marks the return of Dr. Stone with its fourth and last season, generating significant excitement among viewers. Following the events of the previous season where Senku Ishigami and his companions built a ship to traverse the ocean, they eventually reached Treasure Island, marking the pinnacle of the Kingdom of Science’s journey.
In that location, they encountered Ibara, the ruler of the Kingdom of Petrification, who possessed a Medusa Device – one of the originators of the Petrification Beam. Upon overcoming him, they acquired platinum and the Medusa, resurrected Tsukasa, and initiated discussions for their impending journey.
In the approaching season, Senku and his Science Kingdom will be gearing up for the next stage: journeying to the moon to face off with Why-Man. With Tsukasa now back among them, they kick off a lunar landing mission in Dr. Stone Season 4’s premiere episode, collecting materials from around the world to achieve their goal.
On the Perseus, the voyage to America generates conflict between Senku and Ryusui due to differences in navigation techniques. To settle their dispute, they participate in a risky poker game, adding unforeseen complexity to the voyage, yet keeping their primary goal of progressing with the lunar mission in mind.
Title for Dr. Stone Season 4 Episode 1 is ‘Ryusei Vs. Senku’, which will air on Japanese TV at midnight (JST) on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Many international viewers can expect to watch this episode on the same day, while some regions might experience it a day later.
For worldwide viewers, the Winter 2025 anime series will be accessible through Crunchyroll for streaming.
