As a devoted admirer speaking about the matter, I’d like to share that Jocelyn Wildenstein, famously known as Catwoman, who sadly passed away on New Year’s Eve, will undergo cremation. Her fiancé Lloyd Klein shared with TMZ that her remains will be brought to her ranch in Kenya eventually. However, prior to this international journey, there will be a private funeral held in Paris, as per Lloyd’s statement to the outlet.
Wildenstein has chosen to be buried on the same ranch where her parents’ remains rest, ensuring she is close to her family in Kenya.
Klein, who started dating the socialite in question back in 2003 and proposed to her in 2017, informed TMZ that he was still stunned by her death at the age of 84. He referred to her passing as unexpected.
Last week, as reported by the Daily Mail, Klein verified Wildenstein’s passing through a statement to Agence France-Presse. The cause of death for Wildenstein was a pulmonary embolism.
Klein shared with People that he and Wildenstein had a pre-New Year’s nap planned, but upon waking him up to prepare for their arranged party, Klein discovered that Wildenstein was cold and unresponsive.
Moreover, he asserted that her death was partially attributed to a condition known as phlebitis – an inflammation of the veins, similar to what is described on WebMD.
Before her partnership with the fashion designer, it’s well-known that Jocelyn was wedded to French art dealer Alec N. Wildenstein. Despite their contentious split in 1999, she continued using his surname. Together they had two offspring: a daughter named Diane and a son named Alec Jr.
According to The Sun, Jocelyn had a reputation for styling herself after a lynx. Yet, she consistently denied undergoing any facial surgeries beyond Botox injections.
