She remarked, “I grew up in the ’70s when interfaith marriages were quite notable.” She also mentioned that it was difficult for her parents to tie the knot at that time. “It caused a stir. People weren’t pleased with it,” Paltrow continued.

Eventually, as time passed, the families involved grew more tolerant and embracing of the union, setting aside past disagreements. In 1969, Bruce and Blythe exchanged vows, and they were blessed with two children – Gwyneth Paltrow and her younger brother Jake. Their marriage endured for over three decades until Bruce’s passing at the age of 58 following a prolonged fight against throat cancer.
