‘Single Mom, Separate…’: Tori Spelling Teases Christmas Scenes At Her Home; Reveals Which Of Kid Didn’t Get Any Gift Last Year

As a devoted fan of Tori Spelling, I find myself constantly in awe of her resilience and unwavering dedication to her family. Last week’s episode of misSPELLING was yet another testament to her strength as a single mom juggling the demands of motherhood and her career. The story of how Tori’s 16-year-old daughter, Stella, went without a Christmas present last year because she was so focused on helping her mom during the holiday season is truly heartwarming.

Managing life as a single mom can be tough, and Tori Spelling knows this better than anyone! In the latest episode of her podcast misSPELLING, the actress from Beverly Hills: 90210 opened up about an endearing predicament. Last Christmas, her 16-year-old daughter Stella didn’t receive any gifts, but Tori shared a heartwarming explanation behind this holiday surprise!

During the holidays, Stella often assisted the actress in buying gifts for everyone and wrapping them, except for her own. She mentioned this about her former husband Dean McDermott, stating that previously he helped with wrapping presents, but now as a single mother with separate living arrangements, she takes care of it herself. They have five children together: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau.

Stella assists me in wrapping all the presents, and poor thing, she even helps me shop for them. Interestingly, she mentioned that her eldest daughter didn’t receive a gift at all last year due to procrastination.” (Spelling added)

The actress shared that Stella values family customs deeply and felt strongly about not disappointing her siblings. As a result, she prepared diligently to assist her mother in managing everything flawlessly. “This is tradition. This is what we’ve always done. We’re going to do it. I’ll help you. I don’t need a gift. I don’t want a gift,” Spelling remembered her daughter saying this.

Instead of focusing solely on gift-giving during Christmas, the Saved by the Bell actress’s daughter understands that holidays can be stressful for her mother. As a result, she places greater emphasis on making the holiday season enjoyable rather than acquiring presents primarily for her mother.

Instead of purchasing Stella’s gift, they shopped for it together, and by Christmas morning, it was too late to buy presents. As the actress reminisced, “She stayed up with me until early morning hours wrapping gifts. I believe we both finally fell asleep around 4.

She spent the entire night helping me wrap presents, and we didn’t go to bed until around 4 a.m., she mentioned. But that’s in the past now, and it seems like Spelling is all set with her daughter’s Christmas wish list for this year, determined not to fall short of expectations.
