Fiend Hunt Guide — Talos (Wind)

Key Points

  • Level 10 DMG Threshold — 218M.
  • Fiend Stats — 0 DEF & MRES, 100% Wind DMG, 50% Water RES.
  • Optimal Skill Sequence: C1 → S1 → S2 → S3 → S4.
    • Simply trigger C1 at the start of combat then continually deal damage.
  • The Fiend practically deals no damage, so positioning isn’t important this Fiend Hunt. Just make sure to let your entire team take the hit from C1.

Skill Rundown

C2

Maniakos

As a seasoned adventurer and a connoisseur of all things mythical, let me tell you that this Fiend is as gentle as a baby lamb compared to some of the beasts I’ve faced in my travels. But don’t let its seemingly harmless stats fool you – this creature packs quite a punch!

Trigger: There are 4 or fewer surviving characters on your field.

This Villain won’t inflict much harm, so there’s no need to fret about various penalties being activated. To activate its skill, you would actually have to strategically cause a teammate to be defeated. The sole advantage is an additional turn against the Villain.

C1

Doxis

Trigger: Stack 8 chains on any area.

At the outset of the battle, activate Trigger C1, as the chain bonus on your squad remains active throughout the conflict. Ensure that all team members endure this strike for a stronger chain effect!

Later on, simply keep inflicting harm on the Fiend as it doesn’t seem to provide any additional boosts.

S1

Misos Pygm ē

In the current situation, the debilitating effects would be quite intimidating if the Fiend were capable of dealing damage. Positioning isn’t crucial for abilities S2 and S3 in this case.

S2

Phobos Pygm ē

S3

Tyrannos

S4

Titanomachia

After a team clean-up, it’s now time for another team to perform. As the villain returns to starting point 1, it reinitializes its conditional abilities.

Hunting the Fiend

C1 → S1 → S2 → S3 → S4

This Creature initiates attack by activating C1 at the onset of combat, and it persistently inflicts damage thereafter. Rest assured, its multipliers are minimal, so concerns regarding its survivability are largely unfounded.

You can consider sacrificing an ally to trigger C2, giving you one more turn to dish out damage, but that’s a minor optimization.

DPS Review

Loen (Nine-Area-of-Effect) — By switching back and forth between her two costumes, each with a 3-turn cooldown, Loen can consecutively buff and nuke the fiend three times. If you have Celebrity Bunny, you’re able to inflict massive damage at any stage of the battle.

Levia (Nine-Area AoE) – She is the top choice for sub DPS in this Fiend Hunt, and Overheat empowers her to inflict a significant amount of additional damage. To maximize the benefits of Overheat, it’s advisable to deploy Levia following Loen. This way, Loen can still benefit from Captain Levia’s Track and Field Team’s vulnerability.

Liatris (×9 AoE) — Best physical DPS for this Fiend Hunt. She applies tons of chains as well.

As a gamer, I find that Eris (×5/×6 AoE) puts me at a significant disadvantage due to the Fiend’s amplification being limited to boosting my team’s chain stacking. This means Eris has to forfeit a lot of potential damage to make use of the chain buff. Moreover, I can’t hit the weakspot without Zenith, which adds another layer of challenge.
