Justin Baldoni Dropped By Agent Moments Before Blake Lively Files Sexual Harassment Case Against Him

As a dedicated follower of Hollywood and its intricate web of power dynamics, I find myself deeply troubled by the recent events involving Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. Having closely observed both their careers, it is disheartening to see such allegations surface against someone who once seemed like a beacon of positivity and progressive ideals.

Justin Baldoni, who works as both an actor, director, and producer, is no longer associated with talent agency WME. The agency chose to end their professional relationship with Baldoni on Saturday, following a sexual harassment and retaliation allegation made against him by actress Blake Lively on Friday night. This complaint was the reported reason for the separation.

On Friday, Blake Lively, who starred alongside Baldoni and also served as a producer in the movie “It Ends With Us,” submitted an official grievance to the California Civil Rights Department.

In her formal statement, Lively claimed that Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and other related parties involved in the film were responsible for acts of sexual harassment and devising a plan to tarnish her image.

The complaint alleges a hostile work environment during the production of It Ends With Us, which is based on Colleen Hoover’s best-selling book.

livelily asserts that Baldoni and his colleagues fostered an environment that was potentially hazardous, describing instances of unprofessional conduct such as conversations revolving around personal sexual encounters, unwanted physical advances, and the insertion of sexually explicit content not initially planned for the script.

In Lively’s grievance, there are numerous detailed accusations. For instance, she claims that Baldoni may have asked about her weight, without her permission, through their shared trainer. Additionally, she alleges that he and others exposed her to inappropriate material, including explicit photos of women.

Moreover, the grievance mentions Baldoni’s conversations about his previous struggle with pornography addiction and his explicit descriptions, which Lively alleges created a harmful work atmosphere.

The filing further accuses Justin Baldoni and his team of launching a coordinated campaign against Lively after the movie’s release, which she describes as Astroturfing. This effort allegedly aimed to damage her professional reputation.

Through his lawyer Bryan Freedman, Baldoni vigorously refutes the accusations. According to Freedman’s statement, the allegations are “entirely untrue, excessively sensational, and deliberately scandalous, with the intention of causing public harm and perpetuating a story in the media.

Although Baldoni’s denial, WME chose to end their business association with him soon after the complaint was lodged. The agency has remained silent on this issue in public statements. In contrast, Lively remains under WME’s representation.
