Why Did Saoirse Ronan Scold Timothée Chalamet On The Sets Of Little Women? Actor Shares Hilarious Anecdote

As a dedicated follower of Timothée Chalamet‘s career, it’s fascinating to see how his experiences on set have shaped him into the talented actor he is today. In particular, his partnership with Saoirse Ronan on Little Women was instrumental in teaching him professionalism and time management. The story of her barging into his trailer during a scheduling crisis is one that I find particularly amusing – it’s clear that the two have a great camaraderie.

Timothée Chalamet credits Saoirse Ronan for instilling professionalism during film set work! The actor reconnected with his colleagues from “Little Women” and “Lady Bird,” Saoirse Ronan, at a British Film Institute event in collaboration with Vanity Fair on December 18. During a media interview, Chalamet reminisced about working alongside Ronan during the 2019 adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s novel.

He shared that this was a tale he’d rather kept private,” the Dune actor conveyed, leading Ronan to inquire if it was unsuitable. He clarified that it wasn’t, describing the challenge of balancing the filming for Little Women and the promotional events for his movie Beautiful Boy, where he portrayed a teenager battling meth addiction.

As the actor applied makeup and styled his hair, he reminisced about organizing the itinerary for the press tour. He expressed a desire to embark on a regional tour, exploring parts of the U.S. impacted by the story in question. However, this plan was abruptly halted when music from a band reached his ears outside his trailer.

In his own words, Chalamet says, “I walked through the door and there was Saoirse Ronan wearing a bald cap.” He went on to share that Ronan instructed him, “Hurry up and get into the trailer immediately! They’re ready for you in hair and makeup.” With a chuckle, he mentioned that this playful moment with the talented actress from ‘Blitz’ is one of his favorite memories.

When asked if she recalled the story, Ronan affirmed that she did. Moving on, both of them have moved past that matter and are currently focused on their respective careers. Currently, the actress is busy promoting her movie The Outrun and the Apple TV+ series Blitz, while he’s involved in promoting the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic titled A Complete Unknown.

The movie titled “Little Women” featured actors like Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, Meryl Streep, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, James Norton, among others, was a massive hit, earning $218.9 million at the global box office. Additionally, it garnered six Oscar nominations, with Saoirse Ronan being nominated for Best Actress and Florence Pugh for Best Supporting Actress.

The timeless adaptation of Little Women is available to stream on Netflix.
