As an ardent fan, I find myself utterly captivated by Billie Eilish‘s extraordinary journey! Her life, much like her music, is a symphony of triumph and resilience. Turning 23 is just another milestone in her impressive career, marked by the release of her third studio album, Hit Me Hard & Soft, an Oscar win, and a successful tour.
Billie Eilish marks her 23rd birthday, commemorating it with the release of her eighth consecutive Vanity Fair interview on December 18th. In this yearly tradition, she responded to the same set of questions she answered last year, but there’s a twist: the answers have been updated and adapted in response to her personal growth over the past twelve months.
Eilish, known for privacy about her personal life, playfully revealed some surprising details during an open conversation. In this heart-to-heart talk, the singer of Ocean Eyes looked back on what she referred to as an extraordinary year, packed with the launch of her critically acclaimed third album, Hit Me Hard & Soft, a tour, and winning an Oscar for the Barbie track, What Was I Made For?
During the interview, Eilish reviewed past conversations she had with Vanity Fair, where she created a to-do list that included skydiving (an activity she hasn’t tried yet) and bungee jumping, along with other exciting experiences. She asserted boldly that she has accomplished most of the items on her list, including making new friends.
Eilish shared that for the past year, she’s been busy making new friendships and growing even closer to individuals whom she hadn’t been as connected with previously.
She then cheekily added, “And, yes, I’ve had a lot of good sex.”
When asked to identify the standout moment of 2024 for her, the singer responded, “I reached a record number of monthly listeners on Spotify globally… This year has been extraordinary. I launched my album, embarked on another tour, made countless new acquaintances, and welcomed another furry friend into my family.
The lead singer from the band “Birds of a Feather” expressed renewed admiration for some of Lady Gaga’s iconic hits like “Alejandro,” “Poker Face,” and “Born This Way”. She complimented these songs, saying they were “simply fantastic.
Pondering my self-improvement journey, I find myself increasingly confident in my abilities. As our conversation drew to a close, I could hardly contain my amazement at just how far I’ve traveled during this remarkable career of mine.
