Tory Lanez Shuts Down Megan Thee Stallion’s Request For Restraining Order Amid Shooting Case Incarceration

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience navigating high-profile celebrity disputes, I must say this situation between Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion is far from amusing, but rather concerning. It’s disheartening to see two talented artists embroiled in a legal battle that has become a topic of national debate.

In response to Megan Thee Stallion’s petition for a restraining order, Tory Lanez has disputed the validity of her allegations. His legal team asserts that the accusations are baseless and unfounded, claiming they were fabricated to tarnish his reputation.

As reported by TMZ, Tory’s lawyers have stated that it’s preposterous to think that Tory submitted legal documents with the intention of interfering with Stallion’s Amazon Prime documentary. Instead, they clarify that these filings were simply made within the given deadlines and had absolutely no connection to the documentary’s scheduled release.

Previously, Megan filed for an emergency protective order against Lanez, claiming he was waging a psychological campaign by employing bloggers to spread fabricated news about her online. The lawyers representing the Neva Play rapper allegedly possess proof that indicates Lanez hired a blogger who had been defaming her. His father reportedly made payments totaling $3,000 to Elizabeth Milagro Cooper from October 2020 until March 2022.

Lanez’s legal team countered these allegations by stating they are not relevant, and it will be the court’s responsibility to determine the truth. Additionally, they questioned Megan’s credibility following an interview with Gayle King where Megan acknowledged lying about having a physical relationship with Tory.

According to court papers submitted by Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer Mari Henderson, the allegation is that Tory Lanez (Daystar Peterson) has been orchestrating a “harassment campaign” against her, despite being incarcerated, serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting incident. This incident led to Tory Lanez’s conviction on three felony charges in late 2022, which ignited a widespread conversation and contemplation across the nation about violence towards Black women.

2022 saw him being convicted for three felony charges, following his conviction for wounding Megan by firing shots at her feet.
