As a longtime fan of Batman comics, I must say that the upcoming release of Batman #158 has me absolutely thrilled! With such a star-studded lineup of artists and writers, it’s clear that DC is pulling out all the stops to celebrate one of their most iconic stories.
2002 saw Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee‘s groundbreaking 12-issue series, titled “Hush“, significantly impact the world of Batman. Now regarded as a contemporary masterpiece, it brought forth an iconic addition to the rogues gallery in the character Hush himself, while weaving together nearly every significant Batman villain and ally in one intricate mystery. Originally published in issues #608-619 of “Batman” (vol.1), this project marked superstar artist Jim Lee’s initial foray into ongoing Batman storytelling.
Two decades on, I’m thrilled to find myself once again joining forces with the brilliant duo of Loeb and Lee, this time for the eagerly anticipated sequel, “Hush 2” (or “H2SH”). Kicking off as a six-part story within the hallowed pages of DC Comics’ “Batman” #158 in March, we’ve managed to keep the intriguing details of our tale under lock and key. However, to wet your appetite, Loeb, Lee, Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair, and Richard Starkings have graciously shared an inked sneak peek from “Batman” #158. Feast your eyes on the tantalizing preview below, accompanied by Lee’s cover for “Batman” #159 featuring Jason Todd/Red Hood. Enjoy!
In issue #158 of Batman, penned by Jeph Loeb and illustrated by Jim Lee, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair, there will be multiple cover versions by artists like J.
