As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for music trends and industry insights, I must say that Dua Lipa is a shining example of resilience, talent, and unwavering optimism. Her recent Grammy snub might have been disappointing, but it’s clear that she’s focusing on the positives – the success of her album Radical Optimism and the opportunity to bring its energy to fans around the world through her upcoming tour.
Pop star Dua Lipa lately shared her feelings following the omission of her name from the list of nominees for the 2025 Grammys, in connection with her album “Radical Optimism.
In a conversation with Billboard U.K. on December 16, Lipa spoke warmly about the experience following the snub. Though she acknowledged that it would be wonderful to gain industry recognition, the artist behind Dance The Night expressed profound satisfaction and pride over the accomplishments of Radical Optimism thus far.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I couldn’t be more thrilled about Radical Optimism and the journey it has led me on. This album resonates deeply with me, and performing it live is an absolute joy. This year has been particularly rewarding as I’ve managed to accomplish things that I once thought were merely dreams. I am incredibly grateful for this incredible experience.
Though being awarded a Grammy would have been satisfying, Dua Lipa expressed joy over the high number of women who were nominated this year. She shared with the publication, “Though it would be delightful to gain industry recognition, particularly as a woman, I’m incredibly proud to see so many talented female artists nominated for Grammys this year.
Lipa has amassed a total of 10 nominations during her career so far, one of which was for Best New Artist in 2019. Looking back, she believes that her previous work, particularly the album Future Nostalgia (her second studio release), provided her with the opportunity to explore new sounds and embark on a creative journey to go beyond her limits.
Moving forward, she has plans to embark on the Radical Optimism tour in 2025. This tour is expected to span over 40 performances across North America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the UK. She shared this exciting news on her social media platforms with the caption, “RADICAL OPTIMISM TOUR 2025 !! THEY SAID ‘WE MISS 2022 DUA.’
Starting on the 1st of September 2025, Dua Lipa embarks on her tour with shows scheduled in Toronto, followed by stops in cities like Chicago, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, as well as numerous other locations.
