Jamie Foxx recently spoke up regarding an incident that occurred during a dinner at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, where he was celebrating his 57th birthday. This incident resulted in the police being called to the restaurant on Friday evening. The renowned actor from Django Unchained shared that he feels ‘too grateful for any stress.’

In a recent social media update, Foxx shared words about maintaining positivity amidst difficulties without elaborating on any specific conflict. He expressed gratitude towards everyone for their support, both emotionally and in spirit. Simultaneously, he highlighted the triumph of his latest stand-up special, “What Had Happened Was…”, which skyrocketed to success upon its debut on Netflix.

Foxx expressed, “The devil represents deceit. There’s no victory here… gratitude to everyone who prays for me and checks in… when your light is at its strongest, they try to introduce darkness into your life… but you’re equipped to handle it… the lights have been shining brightly… a big thank you to everyone who has watched and found inspiration from ‘What Had Happened Was…'”.

According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, they indeed responded to the earlier reported incident, which was initially identified as an assault with a deadly weapon. However, upon further investigation, they found out that no weapon was actually involved in the altercation, hence, no arrests were made.

As reported by CNN, Foxx’s representative stated that a disagreement escalated into a violent incident, resulting in Foxx receiving a glass to his mouth which necessitated stitching. He is currently recuperating, with the police having been called to handle the situation. The case is now under investigation by law enforcement.

Even though he’s been injured, Foxx reassured his followers that he’s in good condition and expressed gratitude for their well wishes. Exactly a year ago, Foxx underwent a serious health incident – he had a brain hemorrhage followed by a stroke.

In a Netflix production called “Back in Action”, Jamie Foxx is set to star alongside Cameron Diaz. This action-comedy will hit the screens on January 17, 2025.
