As someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the world of BrownDust, I must say this latest update is nothing short of spectacular! The variety of costumes and exclusive gear being added to the game is truly astounding, and it’s clear that the developers have been listening to the community’s requests.

Hello. This is BrownDust2.

Regular upkeep and improvements have been planned for December 17th (UTC) as detailed below.

Service Maintenance Period: From December 16th at 11:50 PM (UTC) to December 17th at 5:20 AM (UTC), lasting approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes.

Title Update: Winter Special Event – “Memory’s Edge” Revamp

Story

One day, Morpeah awoke in an unknown location, unable to recall her past, and wandered aimlessly. During her travels, she crossed paths with Loen, and they discovered tranquility by working at the Vorpal Rabbit. After a year had passed, Morpeah sought a birthday gift for Loen which led her into Sector 4, a perilous area. There, she came across a formidable danger, one that might alter their path. As time went on and circumstances unfolded, their adventure significantly impacted the future of the city.

Clearing the main quest of Story Pack 1, “The Blood Knight,” will trigger the unveiling of the Memory’s Edge Event Pack. However, be aware that the balance of skills for temporary companions joining during the main quest might not match with the balance of permanent companions as they appear in their official releases.

1-1. Fully Voiced Winter Event Pack: Experience the Winter Special Event Pack’s primary quest with fully voiced characters in both Korean and Japanese languages.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that starting after the December 16th maintenance and lasting until the January 16th, 2025 maintenance, we’ll be experiencing an extended Season Event titled “Goodbye Freedom”. Unlike our past events, this one will span over four weeks. It seems that future Season Events will also adopt a 4-week cycle! For comprehensive details about this change and the fourth week schedule, I encourage you to check out point 3 in the announcement, specifically the “Season Event 4th Week Schedule Change Guide”. The Goodbye Freedom Season Event is packed with exciting activities such as Event Story, Normal Battles, Challenge Battles, Field Quest, Fiend Hunter, and an Event Shop. You can acquire event currency from each content and use it to purchase a variety of items at the event shop!

1) Goodbye Freedom Event Story Guide

Story

In the city of Pandora, governed by tyrant Burk and fueled by ambition, the renowned problem-solving pair, Levia and Luvencia, embark on a fresh assignment. Yet, they swiftly become entangled in an unforeseen struggle. Within this metropolis, where the affluent and underprivileged districts are intricately linked, a plot involving the enigmatic power of an unusual girl starts to unfurl. Simultaneously, Burk’s covert machinations grow stronger around Levia and Luvencia. As they tread on a path chosen by their own volition, they are confronted with a crucial dilemma: what decisions will they make when danger lurks near?

Now that the Season Event lasts for four weeks, the process for unlocking the story has been revised. From now on, finishing an episode will automatically unlock the next one in sequence. Additionally, certain episodes will only be accessible after a specific time interval has elapsed.

Talos (Wind)

Anything that money can buy gathers in Pandora City.
A huge bronze giant of an unknown origin was one that gathered in this city.
A rich man purchased it from an unknown merchant,
the bronze giant was densely engraved with a language of an unknown origin.
The unknown language piqued the interest of this rich man,
however his efforts to translate the text were futile. In the end, he could only decipher one word: Talos.
The moment someone said the deciphered word out loud, a terrible disaster began for the city.

– To enter the Seasonal Event, tap “Fiend Hunter” at the bottom of the UI.

5) Farewell, Freedom Event Store Details
– In this store, you can buy several goods utilizing the Event Points obtained from diverse event tasks.
– Here’s a peek at what’s available in the Event Store:

*In addition to the products above, various items necessary for growth will be sold.

After the Goodbye Freedom Season Event concludes, the items in the Event Shop will be refreshed. It would be a good idea to spend any remaining Sparklers before that happens.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that seven glorious days following the conclusion of the “Firework Memories” Season Event, our cherished shop will continue to be open. This extended timeframe offers us all an opportunity to spend any leftover event currency and secure those enticing rewards we’ve been eyeing!

6) Seasonal Event Bonus Costumes

For every eligible costume you have during bonus events, the extra currency earned will add up, depending on how many costumes you possess.

Moving forward, the Season Events will span over a period of four weeks instead of one. Here’s how it will work:

2) Additional Updates

Introducing an innovative addition to our game, we’ll now offer an Illustrated Dialogue Feature. This means players can engage with certain portions of the game’s narrative in a captivating visual novel style. Essentially, the story unfolds as a series of conversations illustrated with engaging artwork.

– In addition to the main menu, unique, illustrated scenes will be incorporated during conversations in storylines.

5. New Content “Glupy Diner” Update
– A new restaurant management content called Glupy Diner is being updated.
– Glupy Diner will be available after a new pack and can be unlocked after clearing Story Pack 1 on Normal difficulty.
– In Glupy Diner, you can use a currency called “Glupy Stars” to unlock restaurant facilities and deploy part-time characters to help them grow.
– Rewards can be earned based on the time spent running the restaurant, with a maximum of 24 hours worth of rewards stacking.
ㄴ After receiving rewards, there is a minimum waiting time of 10 minutes before you can collect the rewards again.
– The maximum level of the restaurant is 30, and rewards increase progressively as the restaurant’s level rises.
– The types of rewards available in the Glupy Diner include Glupy Stars, Gold, and Refining Powder.
– Every day at 9 AM KST, regular customers and special customers will visit the restaurant. Touching a regular customer will grant specific rewards.
ㄴ If you receive the rewards from the same customer a certain number of times, you unlock additional rewards in the Regular Customer Notebook.
– Touching a special customer will trigger an event, and you will acquire their contact information to chat with them via messenger.
For more details on the messenger function, please refer to notice 6, “Messenger and Affinity Content Update”.

As a fan of Glupy Diner, I’m excited about the latest updates! The in-game messaging system, “Glutalk,” allows me to chat with unique customers I’ve encountered. However, these special customers can only be found within the Glupy Diner Pack, specifically costumes like “New Hire Nebris.” At the moment, only this costume supports affinity content, but more costumes are planned for future updates.

1st Meeting Event won’t use up any Meeting Attempts.

Update for Unique Home Screen Interactions:

During character conversations, only Korean voices are provided as an audio option. So, if your language setting is set to Japanese, you won’t hear any voiceover.

Upgrade for Character Packs 1-5: Now featuring Japanese Full Voiceover! Enjoy these Character Packs as they come equipped with brand-new Japanese voices.
