It’s astonishing that neither player has achieved a 99 overall rating before this point. Given that Jackson is a two-time MVP and was the cover athlete for Madden 21, it seems hard to believe. He’s been one of the most exciting players in football ever since he joined the league, often being compared to Michael Vick, whose Madden 04 version remains the benchmark by which all other virtual athletes are judged.
Derrick Henry has been a two-time leader in rushing yards, frequently accomplishing this feat even when his team had an average quarterback directing their offense.
