As a rabid fan of all things entertainment, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming series on Apple TV+, The Studio! With Seth Rogen at the helm and Martin Scorsese making an appearance, it’s like a dream come true for this movie buff.
There’s a lot of excitement building for the upcoming Apple TV+ series, The Studio, which has been jointly created by Seth Rogen. This show boasts not just Rogen himself, but a whole host of beloved celebrities that include the renowned filmmaker, Martin Scorsese.
In their chat with Variety, Rogen and fellow show co-creator Evan Goldberg admitted they felt apprehensive when directing the filmmaker of The Wolf of Wall Street. They disclosed in the interview that they chose to film Scorsese’s scene using a single camera instead of a multi-camera setup, as they believed the latter could give an unprofessional impression.
The lead actor of An American Pickle revealed that an additional camera crew was stationed elsewhere, on standby, should any major concerns arise regarding the filming style. He further mentioned, “Fortunately, he described it as akin to the French New Wave, and showed great eagerness about executing it in that fashion.
Goldberg noticed that the acclaimed director, Scorsese, seemed to have some thoughts on the course of action, as he frequently conversed in hushed tones with one of the actors. He then inquired, “What were you two whispering about for so long…?” To which Scorsese responded, “I told you that you were going astray, and I was waiting for you to correct your course. Eventually, you did. I didn’t want to interrupt because I didn’t want to be impolite. I knew you’d figure it out on your own.
Speaking of our exciting new project, I’m thrilled to share that we’ll be joined by an impressive roster of stars, including the talented Zoe Kravitz, Olivia Wilde, Charlize Theron, Ice Cube, Anthony Mackie, Adam Scott, Ron Howard, and Zack Snyder – just to name a few! Can’t wait for you all to see what we have in store.
As a devoted fan, I’d like to share that the series I’m following falls under the comedy genre. In this production, Joe Rogan, who is also an integral part of it, embodies a character named Matt Remick. It’s said that in this role, he’s working on a film project, which interestingly seems to serve as a lengthy advertisement for Kool-Aid.
Apple TV+’s The Studop is set to premiere next year on March 26, 2025.
