As a child of Frank Sinatra, I have grown up surrounded by legends and timeless artistry. The recent commercial featuring my father, brought back to life through AI, was nothing short of extraordinary – a mind-blowing blend of innovation and tradition that I had never seen before in my lifetime.
Tina Sinatra, Frank Sinatra’s daughter, shared her thoughts on the latest Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg commercial where her father is digitally resurrected. For those not familiar, this advertisement involves a depiction of her late dad.
In conversation with folks, Tina shared that the time-warping advertisement was thrilling and an entirely new experience for her up until now.
Tina went on to say, “It’s amazing and hard to believe to find myself with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, my father, and Sammy Davis Jr., all together like this, in such a groundbreaking manner.
Tina further stated that the advertisement serves as a tribute to “enduring artistic mastery,” transcending boundaries, and preserving the spirit of cooperation between two different generations.
In this advertisement, aired on December 10, 2024, viewers were treated to a scene where Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg engaged in conversation with artificial representations of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
In the video from the Still G.I.N., the deceased musicians can be observed engaging in conversation while dressed formally. It’s then that they notice Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, who were casually moving through the sophisticated bar crowd.
Later on, Frank Sinatra wonders, “Well, I wonder who these fellows are?” And Davis Jr. replies, “Seems they’re the latest tough guys around here.
In this scenario, the singer of Fly Me To The Moon requests the bartender to connect them with the rappers. After this introduction, they all choose to share a drink together.
On the table, Davis Jr. queries Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre, “What’s your preference for a drink today? What are you both sipping on?
In response, they mention the label of their gin. Shortly after, a voice that sounds like Frank Sinatra’s can be heard saying, “Alright. Gin is still for everyone!
Still G.I.N. was launched back in February and is co-owned by Dre and Snoop.
Frank Sinatra died in 1998 and Sammy Davis Jr. passed away in 1990.
