Bryce Dallas Howard Expresses Desire To Work With Dad Ron Howard; Says ‘I Would Always Sort Of Harass…’

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but feel a profound sense of anticipation for the day when Bryce Dallas Howard and her illustrious father, Ron Howard, share the silver screen together. Growing up on movie sets must have been like living in a real-life Hollywood fairy tale, and it’s fascinating to hear Bryce speak about her unique childhood experiences.

Just as fans can’t wait to see Bryce Dallas Howard and her father, Ron Howard, working together on-screen, it seems that the actress is equally eager for that moment. She shared this anticipation during her appearance at a panel at Steel City Con, which took place in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

At the gathering held on December 6 (a Friday), Bryce mentioned a past experience where, at age 7, she had a minor role but never collaborated with him in a professional acting capacity, involving scripted lines and all accompanying aspects of the craft.

She expressed, “But I want to. I want to very badly. And I would always sort of harass him about it. And now I’m like, ‘Let’s talk, dude.’”

At the event, the artist reminisced about growing up on her father’s film sets, describing it as essentially her own childhood. Meanwhile, Bryce mentioned that his childhood consisted of visiting and hanging out on those very sets.

The actress explained, “For several reasons. One is that as the eldest of four, I wished to be around the film set, making it simpler for my mother, as she had one less child to look after during the day. In a way, you could say I was accompanying my sibling.

Additionally, she cited another factor, explaining that her dad had begun his career as a professional even before she was born, and both of his parents were part of the same field. As a result, it seemed natural to him to bring his daughter to work each day.

For those not familiar, Ron and his spouse, Cheryl, have four kids together: Bryce, Paige, Jocelyn, and Reed.

She reminisced about the “guidelines and limits” that were in place on film sets, but she considered herself fortunate to have had such an extraordinary experience, as she looked back at the moment when she donned a Splash mermaid tail and tried on the Cocoon alien’s head.
