THE WHEEL OF TIME Season 3 Trailer Has a Lot of Screaming

As a dedicated fan who has been following The Wheel of Time journey since its inception, I must say that the latest trailer for season three left me absolutely spellbound! The ominous atmosphere, the haunting visuals, and the tantalizing glimpses of what’s to come have only heightened my anticipation.

The second season of ‘The Wheel of Time’ concluded with a thrilling twist – a common occurrence in tales revolving around a struggle between Light and Darkness. This Prime Video series, based on Robert Jordan’s fantasy book series, ended its run last season with a fight in Falme. Then, Moiraine announced to the world that Rand al’ Thor is the Dragon Reborn. As you could guess, this revelation will certainly shape events in season three. And now, we have more insights into what lies ahead. At CCXP24 in Brazil on Saturday, Prime Video unveiled a gripping trailer for ‘The Wheel of Time’ season three, as well as the release date. Let’s take a look first: [watch the trailer here]

Phew! It’s clear that this trailer promises an exciting journey, especially as it starts by showing the city of Rhuidean. We get quick glimpses of danger and tension everywhere. There are the Black Ajah, the Forsaken, perhaps Rand struggling to keep his mind stable while using the One Power. However, the main storyline that the trailer emphasizes is about Moiraine and Rand. Moiraine, an Aes Sedai, thinks she must sacrifice herself for Rand to survive and save the world from the Dark One.

Here’s what Prime Video shared about The Wheel of Time season three:

In the finale of Season Two, I, Rand al’Thor, vanquished Ishamael and rejoiced in the reunion with my companions at Falme. However, in Season Three, the perils against the Light escalate: the White Tower is fractured, the Black Ajah roam freely, ancient adversaries resurface in the Two Rivers, and the remaining Forsaken chase the Dragon – including Lanfear, whose connection with me promises to be a pivotal decision between Light and Darkness for both of us. As my connections to my past weaken, my corrupted power intensifies, leaving me virtually unrecognizable to my confidants, Moiraine and Egwene. Once mentor and pupil, these formidable ladies must now collaborate to prevent the Dragon from succumbing to the Dark – regardless of the sacrifices that may ensue.

I can hardly wait for March to arrive! Excitement and apprehension are both building up inside us. Until then, we might find solace in re-watching The Wheel of Time series thus far.
