As a hardcore Marvel fan with years of binge-watching under my belt, I can’t help but feel like I’ve stumbled upon the Tesseract itself when it comes to the news about Agatha All Along potentially getting a season 2. The hints, nominations, and strategic award submissions have all added up to make me believe that Westview isn’t done with us just yet!
Agatha All Along has wrapped up the final installments of its series, neatly concluding certain character narratives and hinting at potential future plotlines. Originally intended to be a limited series, similar to other Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Disney+, in simpler terms, it’s now complete with the broadcast of its last episodes.
Brad Winderbaum, Marvel’s Head of TV and Streaming, has affirmed that the show has been thriving, and he’s eager to delve deeper into Westview’s stories and its residents. As the awards season is in full swing, Agatha All Along has garnered several nominations, such as Patti LuPone’s nod for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2024 Critics’ Choice Television Awards.
In 2025, the Independent Spirit Awards recognized Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, and Patti LuPone with nominations across three categories: Best Lead Actress, Best Emerging Actress (or Breakthrough Performance), and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, for their work in a new scripted TV series.
2025 finds me at the Saturn Awards, proudly cheering for “Agatha All Along” as it’s nominated for the Best Superhero Television Series! Kathryn Hahn, my favorite, is up for Best Actress, Aubrey Plaza for Best Guest Star, and Joe Locke for Best Younger Performer in a Television Series. Fingers crossed for these talented individuals!
Fans are optimistic about potential new content for the series Agatha All Along, as the storyline seems to indicate there are still untold tales featuring characters like Agatha (played by Hahn), Billy (portrayed by Locke), and Lady Death (played by Plaza).
Currently, there are hints that the official Marvel Studios account may be subtly indicating through their replies that the series could potentially continue into a second season.
Marvel Studios’ official Twitter account has been concealing posts expressing excitement about ‘Agatha All Along’ being revived for a second season, as suggested by the winking eye emoji.

It’s important to note that these indications don’t necessarily prove anything, but they might suggest a deeper story behind the scenes, possibly due to excessive caution to quell speculations about the show.
Instead of entering the show “Agatha All Along” into the “limited series” category for upcoming awards such as the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and Emmys, Disney+ opted to submit it in the comedy category.
This choice might imply that the series is not over just yet, and given the enthusiastic reaction from fans, it seems the production company is considering revising their plans for the show’s continuation.
As a devoted fan, I’ve noticed that Disney+ often releases limited series. However, exceptions like Loki, X-Men ’97, and What If…? have been fortunate enough to have multiple seasons. Even more excitingly, Daredevil: Born Again was renewed for a second season before its first season even premiered! This certainly fuels our anticipation!
