Loki Season 2 Deleted Scene Confirms Two Major Marvel Comic Characters’ Existence With Thor: Love And Thunder Post-credit Reference

As a long-time Marvel enthusiast who has witnessed the rise and fall of countless heroes and villains, I can confidently say that Loki season 2 has been a rollercoaster ride that’s left me on the edge of my seat! The latest revelation about Loki’s conversations with Mobius, hidden in the 4K UHD Blu-ray version, has sent me into a frenzy.

The second season of Loki among the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe installments has proven to be particularly captivating. In this series, we witnessed an extraordinary self-sacrifice from the trickster deity, but regrettably, several significant allusions seemed to have been omitted.

According to Variety’s report on the newly launched 4K UHD Blu-ray edition of the series, it’s revealed that Loki converses with his closest companion, Mobius, regarding individuals who harbor intense dislike towards him.

As I gaze into the tantalizing slice of key lime pie, it’s evident that my portrayal in this scene is not one of adoration. Intriguingly, many of the characters I’ve encountered view me as a conundrum, a puzzle they can’t quite solve – or perhaps even a problem they’d rather avoid. Yet, isn’t it intriguing to be the enigma that sparks conversations and leaves people guessing?

In my fervor, I can’t help but mention these three – Fandral, Volstagg, and Hogun, who have shared a past with none other than Thor, the God of Thunder and Loki’s brother. I’ve witnessed them in the silver screen, standing shoulder to shoulder with the mighty thunder god.

In the conversation, Loki mentions Laufey, who is recognized as his true father, along with Bor, the father of Odin. Interestingly, Loki brings up Heimdall on two occasions, since it was this character who persuaded Loki that he was an issue.

Next, the divine being, possessing supernatural abilities, addresses the inhabitants of Earth, mentioning Jane Foster, Erik Selvig, Darcy Lewis, legendary figure Nick Fury, and his aide Maria Hill.

In some instances, Loki refers to Thor using his human name, Donald Blake. Interestingly, he also brings up a couple of character names that have yet to make an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In our tale, we meet Amora, often referred to as the Enchantress and a sorceress hailing from Asgard. Following her, we encounter the formidable Absorbing Man.

For those unfamiliar, Carl Creel is a character portrayed as a boxer in comic books, who acquires his abilities following Loki’s gift of a magical elixir.

In the discussion that follows, Loki mentions Hercules, a character we caught glimpses of during the end credits of Thor: Love and Thunder. This role was brought to life by Brett Goldstein on screen.

“Hercules, another big guy, I was a big problem for him,” Loki is heard stating.

Russell Crowe’s Zeus is seen sending his son, another demi-god, after Thor.
