As a long-time Marvel fanatic who has spent countless hours poring over comic books and theories, I find the idea of Wanda Maximoff and Doctor Doom teaming up to be absolutely thrilling! The concept that they could have been trapped in the Void, working together to find a way out, is a tantalizing twist that would add depth and complexity to their characters.
The team-up between Deadpool and Wolverine proved to be a massive success among fans, primarily due to its abundance of fan service and subtle references. One particularly intriguing Easter egg can be found – it’s the Scarlet Witch statue hidden in the cave where the “Resistance” is secretly stationed.
The sculpture bears an uncanny resemblance to the one found in Darkhold Castle. After the events in “Multiverse of Madness,” it’s worth noting that Wanda comes to understand her errors and self-destructs, burying herself and all existing copies of the Darkhold beneath the Temple’s collapse.
Instead, suppose that instead of dying, Wanda found herself transported to the Void, which is the setting for the adventures depicted in “Deadpool & Wolverine”.
As Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hit the screens, I learned that Wanda, alongside Kang, is categorized as a Nexus Being. This revelation means that instead of meeting my end, she might have been removed or ‘pruned’ automatically, given her unique status.
In other words, just how does Doctor Doom fit into these events? It’s been hinted that when Robert Downey Jr. declared his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but not as Iron Man, rather as Doctor Doom, speculations emerged suggesting he might portray a version of Doom.
There’s a chance that Doom was trimmed or separated from his original form and wound up in the Void. It’s speculated that he and the Scarlet Witch later joined forces with the objective of discovering an escape route from the Void.
Could it be that Robert Downey Jr.’s version of Doom was banished to the empty realm by the Time Variance Authority, and the reason we find Wanda’s statue in the void in Deadpool and Wolverine is because she wound up there after Multiverse of Madness? And perhaps this is where Doom and Wanda met and teamed up to find a way out of that desolate place?

According to whispers circulating, it’s likely that the narrative surrounding Wanda Maximoff will resurface in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, potentially taking on a significant role in the impending “Doomsday” saga. There’s speculation that she might collaborate with Doctor Doom and even develop romantic feelings for him. If the MCU decides to incorporate the “Time Runs Out” and “The Children’s Crusade” story arcs, it seems plausible that Wanda and Doom could form an alliance.
As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about a captivating tale in “The Children’s Crusade”. In this narrative, it’s all about Wanda’s son, Wiccan, and the Young Avengers embarking on a heartrending quest to find Wanda herself. This journey unfolds post the earth-shattering events of “House of M”, where she, tragically, erased most of the mutant population, leaving us fans on the edge of our seats.
In my gaming world, during this narrative, Doctor Doom steps up to assist me, Wanda, in recovering my lost memories and powers. There’s a subtle suggestion that Doom might be using me as a pawn for his own devious purposes. The MCU could bring this to life by portraying Doom discovering me, disoriented and suffering from memory loss, within the Void.
At some stage, it becomes clear that Wanda and Doctor Doom had been collaborating. Initially, Doom admitted he harbored romantic feelings for her, but upon further examination, it appeared his affection was merely a ploy to advance his personal goals and hunger for power, rather than a genuine emotional bond.
For a moment, they temporarily join forces; Doom harnesses Wanda’s abilities in an attempt to command immense magical force. Regrettably, this union results in catastrophic outcomes due to Doom’s insatiable thirst for power, causing even greater turmoil.
It’s plausible that Doom could employ the Void to construct “Battleworld” during Secret Wars, but currently, there’s a crucial piece lacking in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for this scenario to unfold – the Beyonder.
It’s an intriguing theory, especially with the recent rumors. Keep in mind, the future of the MCU seems to be pointing toward Wanda’s return. A show focused on White Vision is about to begin production, a series about Wonder Man is set for 2025, and her son Wiccan is currently searching for his twin brother, Tommy.
