Brad Pitt Ordered to Release Documents in Ongoing Winery Legal Battle with Angelina Jolie; Here’s What Will Happen If He Doesn’t

As a woman who has faced my fair share of challenges and injustices in my lifetime, I find myself deeply moved by the ongoing legal battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. While I am not privy to the specifics of their situation, I can empathize with Angelina’s pursuit for truth and justice.

In the ongoing dispute between Angeline Jolie and her former husband Brad Pitt over their winery, a judge has made a significant decision in favor of Jolie. On Monday, November 25th, it was ruled that Brad Pitt, aged 60, must disclose certain documents. These documents, as claimed by Jolie’s legal team, are said to reveal communications about alleged instances of abuse, false reports to authorities, and years of concealment on Pitt’s part.

It is said that the documents will encompass text messages, emails, and various written correspondence from Pitt, but they won’t contain any communication between him and his therapists or lawyers.

Previously, Pitt’s legal representatives attempted to dismiss Jolie’s request, describing it as “broad and invasive” and a “dramatic, unwarranted search for information.

One of Angelina Jolie’s lawyers, Paul Murphy, stated that they possess significant information, which he describes as “key evidence,” that Brad Pitt has been concealing for years. He further explained on November 26th that this evidence is crucial to their case because Pitt’s actions have caused harm not only to Angelina but also to their children. However, Murphy underlined that Angelina Jolie never wished to engage in a long-term legal dispute. She opted not to file charges against Pitt and even offered to sell him the winery business initially to prevent any further conflict.

To this day, Mr. Pitt has not been made to answer for his actions and maintains full control over Miraval and the winery, but he continues to demand more. According to her lawyer, Jolie desires the case to be concluded, as do their six children. Murphy suggested that Pitt should concentrate on mending their family relationships rather than filing lawsuits against Jolie.

If he doesn’t (make a statement), Angelina will argue her case in court by offering proof that clearly disproves Brad’s claims.

In my perspective as a dedicated follower, the ongoing legal disagreement I’m involved with traces back to when Jolie decided to part ways with our shared French vineyard estate, Chateau Miraval, by selling her share to Tenute del Mondo, the wine division of Stoli Group, in 2022. According to my understanding, Pitt asserts that Jolie violated our agreement by making this sale without obtaining prior approval from both parties.

Earlier, Jolie stated that when she proposed selling her share of the property they jointly owned to Pitt, he suggested a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as part of the arrangement, which she declined. As per Jolie’s legal advisors, this NDA was intended to prevent her from disclosing his misbehavior and the abusive actions he supposedly inflicted upon her during their relationship.

On September 14, 2016, just days before she filed for divorce, Angelina Jolie accused Brad Pitt of an in-flight argument where he reportedly became aggressive and intoxicated in front of their children. Pitt, who has since abstained from alcohol, denies any wrongdoing and was cleared by authorities following initial investigations. However, Jolie’s legal team asserted in previous court documents that Pitt’s pattern of physical abuse towards her extended beyond the airplane incident.

Pitt and Jolie, who were officially separated by a court in 2019, are the parents of six children: Maddox (age 23), Pax (age 20), Zahara (age 19), Shiloh (age 18), as well as twin girls Vivienne and Knox (age 16).
