Ryan Reynolds Hints Again at a Festive Deadpool Project in the Works!

As a long-time Deadpool fan and someone who has witnessed the merry mayhem that ensues when this unconventional superhero gets his hands on Christmas, I can’t help but feel an exhilarating mix of anticipation and excitement. The hints dropped by Ryan Reynolds and the whispers in the comic book community are like presents under the tree – each one bringing us closer to a Deadpool Christmas special that we’ve all been secretly hoping for.

Approximately three weeks ago, Ryan Reynolds posted a sneak peek of what appeared to be a Deadpool Christmas special. In the picture, Reynolds (wearing only half his Deadpool suit) was captured in an affectionate hug with Leslie Uggams, who is well-known for her role as Blind Al in multiple episodes.

There’s been excitement among fans as they anticipate the possibility of a fresh Special Presentation being unveiled soon. Back then, Kevin Feige gave clues about additional specials, suggesting they were in the works and encouraging fans to be patient.

Currently, Reynolds has returned with yet another hint, this time embracing the wintry atmosphere completely. In a video shared on his social media, the actor applied a snowflake effect, giving us a sneak peek at the beautifully adorned filming location for the holiday season.

It’s possible, though it may just be promotional material, there’s a chance we could see a Christmas Special or sequel akin to Guardians of the Galaxy or a continuation of Once Upon a Deadpool and Wolverine. Given the success of the PG-13 version of Deadpool 2, the studio might consider revisiting that formula, which could mean hints of Wolverine joining in the holiday fun.

The most recent rumors however point out that a special might be in the works. The rumors are brought to us by Comicodigy X account, a known leaker with mostly unreliable record so take that with a grain of salt:

There’s a possibility that a special Christmas episode starring Deadpool could be in the works for Disney+, potentially showcasing an encounter between Deadpool and Santa Claus, known as the most formidable mutant in the Marvel comic book universe.
