‘We Want Nothing’: JonBenét Ramsey Murder House Owner Shares Why They Didn’t Take Part In Documentary

As a lifestyle expert with a keen interest in true crime narratives, I must say that the story of JonBenét Ramsey‘s murder house and its current owners, Carol Milner and her husband Timothy, is nothing short of intriguing. Having lived in the same house where this tragic event unfolded nearly three decades ago, they have had a unique perspective on the case.

Amidst the buzz surrounding Netflix’s new documentary about JonBenét Ramsey’s murder, the current homeowners, Carol Milner and her husband Timothy, have stepped forward to express their thoughts. They reside in the very same house where the tragic incident occurred back in 1996.

In addition to them, a family of seven resides at that location – parents Carol and Timothy along with their five kids. As reported to TMZ, this family received an invitation from the Netflix documentary team behind Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey. Despite this opportunity, they chose not to accept it.

Indeed, according to Carol’s account, this isn’t their first encounter with a documentary team. It appears they have received proposals from various Hollywood figures, including Dr. Phil, in the past. Reports suggest that one such offer for their family was valued in seven figures.

“We want nothing to do with the exploitation of that poor family,” Carol mentioned to the outlet.

Despite the anticipated rise in visitors following the Netflix documentary, Carol and Timothy feel reassured, given that their property is enclosed by a gate.

Moving on to the shocking event, JonBenét was merely six years old when her lifeless body was discovered in the basement of her home. This tragic occurrence took place all the way back in December of 1996.

However, even today her international headline-making and shivering murder case is unsolved.

The property, located in Colorado, is a boulder that Carol and Timothy purchased back in 2004. Upon their initial inspection, they were captivated by the grand mansion’s charm. In fact, Carol recalls having an immediate apprehension when they first laid eyes on it.

According to the new owners of the mansion, they don’t believe that the Ramsey family were responsible for the murder of young JonBenét.

Initially, they expressed fear about a theory suggesting the killer might still be free. Yet, as time passed, their concerns seemed to subside.

Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey? will be released on Netflix on November 25, 2024.
