In essence, game developer Nullpointer Games is currently developing an intriguing mystery-horror role-playing game called “The Horror at Highrook“. Notably, the creators of the highly popular game “Among Us“, which has been a hit on multiple platforms, are providing financial support for this project.

The game can currently be found on Steam as a demo, and a closed beta is scheduled for the upcoming year. The full version of the game is set for release in 2025. In this article, we’ll give you all the details about the game to make it as engaging and interesting for you as possible.

Innersloth’s independent game development fund, known as OuterSloth, has financed a total of seven games thus far, including “The Horror at Highrook,” which is the focus of our current discussion in this report. This fund comes from the same company that introduced us to Among Us.

As I mentioned, this intriguing game can be found on Steam, where a demo is readily available for your gaming pleasure. In the coming months, even more content will be added to deepen the experience. This upcoming title has a vibe reminiscent of Darkest Dungeon, placing you in the shoes of an occult investigator. Your mission? With whispers of dark practices echoing through the halls, it’s up to you to uncover the truth behind this chilling case. Check out the trailer for a sneak peek!

Tom Betts, of Nullpointer Games, the developer, revealed the following piece of information:

The idea for The Horror at Highrook, however, came about following the collapse of another major project deal, and it was a cherished concept that I had nurtured for several years.
