I’ve been around the block a few times, and let me tell you, the news that Harvey Specter is gracing us with his presence in Suits LA has me as giddy as a schoolgirl on prom night! The man is nothing short of legendary, and I can’t wait to see him bring his charm, wit, and impeccable suit game to the West Coast.
It’s time for all the contenders! Mark your calendars for February 2025, as the spin-off of the hit legal drama “Suits”, named “Suits LA“, is about to premiere. Ever since the show was announced, fans of the original series have been curious to know if any familiar faces would appear in Los Angeles. As per Deadline, the dapper lawyer Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht) will be reprising his role in “Suits LA“.
Before the official announcement, Macht stirred up excitement among his Instagram followers with a video showing him getting ready for more action. If Harvey doesn’t do anything else, he’s going to wear that suit again! It appears that Macht will return as Harvey in a three-episode storyline on Suits LA.
Given that Ted Black, a key character from the spinoff (played by Stephen Amell), is a former federal prosecutor from New York who probably knew the charming lawyer, it’s not surprising that these characters’ paths might cross due to their shared history in the legal world. At the end of Suits, Harvey Specter and his long-term assistant Donna Paulsen (played by Sarah Rafferty) got married and moved to Seattle to work at Mike Ross’s (Patrick J. Adams) legal clinic. Mike and Rachel got hitched in season seven and relocated to Washington state, which could potentially provide more opportunities for these characters to interact.
It’s likely that Harvey and Donna are still on the West Coast, living together. Here’s hoping that Harvey continues to enjoy sipping Macallan scotch and expanding his collection of signed sports memorabilia. Perhaps Donna and/or Mike might make an appearance or be mentioned, too. As for Mike, we hope he is still with Rachel, but it seems unlikely that Meghan Markle will return to her role. It’s a possibility, though. In any case, the return of Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter in Suits LA is fantastic news for fans of the show. He embodies charm, wit, and an allure that promises to captivate viewers with this fresh new drama.
