This theory posits that Bitcoin’s PoW might operate as an electronic and cyber version of what he labels as electro-cyber power projection.

In simpler terms, the author refers to this method as “softwar,” which might aid countries in safeguarding sensitive information like financial data, and discourage cyberattacks by making them financially burdensome for perpetrators. The author delves into how this approach could reshape national security strategies in the digital era.

Lowery proposes that the U.S. might bolster its cybersecurity and maintain a digital strategic advantage by cultivating a robust hashing sector, which he refers to as “The U.S. Hashing Taskforce.

His ideas have sparked curiosity among both military and political decision-makers. On November 7, Lowery penned an open letter to the U.S. Defense Innovation Board, urging the Pentagon to investigate Bitcoin’s strategic possibilities.

My ambition is to counsel the Department of Defense on the national strategic importance of Proof-of-Work (PoW) technology.
