As a dedicated fan who’s always kept tabs on the royal family, this latest security scare at Windsor Castle has sent chills down my spine! I can only imagine what it must feel like to be Prince William and Kate Middleton, waking up to the news that masked thieves had invaded their home while they were sound asleep with their precious children.
It’s said that Prince William, his wife Catherine Middleton, along with their children, experienced a security alarming incident. A news report claims that two individuals wearing masks broke into the Windsor Castle property while the royal family was peacefully sleeping at their nearby residence.
Overwhelmed with excitement as an ardent admirer, here’s my take on it: According to The Independent, His Royal Highness Prince William and the Princess of Wales found themselves at their esteemed Windsor Castle residence when, in the dead of night, daring intruders scaled a six-foot barrier. These bold trespassers, it seems, made off with a farm vehicle after breaching the sacred royal grounds by forcing open a gate.
The incident occurred last month, according to The Independent.
Two masked individuals gained entry to the royal estate by using a pilfered truck. Further, as reported by investigating officials, they subsequently took a pickup truck and an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) too.
As per reports, it is said that Prince William, accompanied by Kate Middleton and their three children – eleven-year-old Prince George, nine-year-old Princess Charlotte, and six-year-old Prince Louis – were staying at Adelaide Cottage when the event close to their property occurred.
The incident grows even more startling, as the report indicates that the damaged gate is just a short five-minute drive from Adelaide Cottage.
Furthermore, the gate is said to be regularly used by the royal family due to its close proximity.
During the occurrence, it is said that King Charles was residing in Scotland, while the Queen was allegedly not present at the premises, as she was apparently enjoying a spa stay in India prior to their trip to Samoa and Australia.
On Sunday, October 13, at approximately 11:45 p.m., as reported by Thames Valley Police, a burglary occurred at a specific location.
An officer announced that a break-in was reported at a location on the Crown Estate, close to the A308 in Windsor.
In further conversations with the press, the Thames Valley Police department also disclosed that they’d received information about individuals breaking into a farm structure and making off with a “black Isuzu truck” as well as a “red all-terrain vehicle.
Per the authority, the masked men then went towards “the Old Windsor/Datchet area.”
As reported by authorities, no one has been taken into custody so far, but the investigation is still ongoing.
