Should you pull for Momoi (Maid)/Midori (Maid)/Aris (Maid)/Toki (Bunny)

Introduction

As someone who has spent countless hours battling through the challenging landscapes of Blue Archive, I can confidently say that each student brings their unique strengths to the table.

After the Dragon and Tortoise event, you’ll notice a set of re-run advertisements featuring Momoi, Midori, Aris, and Toki (Momoi – Maid, Midori – Maid, Aris – Maid, Toki – Bunny). In this article, we will quickly discuss if any of these characters are worth acquiring and whether there have been any updates since their initial release.

Momoi (Maid) Overview

Maid Momoi (Sonic Striker) is a constant 3-star character who excels as a Single Target Auto Attacker with a distinctive skill set. Her EX Skill boosts her auto attacks by dealing an extra 56% damage to opponents, offering an 85.1% ATK SPD increase, and disregarding attack delay for 100 instances. This synergizes well with M.Momoi’s Sub Skill, which restores ammo for 5.5 seconds following the use of an EX Skill, essentially granting M.Momoi unlimited ammunition. Regrettably, M.Momoi doesn’t have any applicable uses in raids at this time. Despite her strong potential, there are currently no raid scenarios available on both Global and JP servers that cater to her unique role.

Given that we’ve learned about what M.Momoi contributes to the team, should she be considered a good choice for summoning? To clarify, if M.Momoi happens to be your preferred character, this information shouldn’t deter you from summoning her. Ultimately, it’s your game and account. Enjoy playing!

Generally speaking, Kurokage being the sole Elastic-armored raider makes it challenging for M.Momoi to find a place in teams due to her area-of-effect (AoE) focus. Additionally, since M.Momoi’s skill set mainly revolves around using her EX Skill at a cost of 4, she finds it hard to function as a filler student. Although there is some potential for M.Momoi to become a powerful single-target Elastic raider, relying on the future potential of a unit might not be advisable. This is because they may never encounter a raid tailored to their niche, or when one does come along, a superior alternative could emerge instead.

Midori (Maid) Overview

Midori (Maid) is a constant 3-star student who specializes in Sonic skills and deals single target damage, making her first among such characters. However, her abilities themselves are not particularly unique but rather have high numbers for increased damage potential. To get the most out of Midori’s damage capabilities, significant investments, like Unique Equipment level 50, are recommended. Level 40 Unique Equipment also provides a good balance with its Sonic Effectiveness buff. Unfortunately, since a Single Target Elastic raid has not been introduced yet, Midori finds herself in a niche that may not be necessary or required.

After learning about what benefits M.Midori brings to the team, should she be considered a worthwhile addition to your roster? To put it simply, if M.Midori happens to be your preferred character, this analysis doesn’t dictate whether or not you should pull her. Ultimately, it’s your game and your decision.

In essence, there isn’t any existing raid specifically designed for M.Midori’s unique role, and it encounters intense rivalry from the forthcoming list of banners. Moreover, we advise against pulling for a student solely based on their prospective abilities; there might never be a raid for that specific niche, or a more powerful unit could emerge to overshadow previous choices.

Aris (Maid) Overview

As a dedicated fan, I can share that Aris, the Maid character, is a steady 3-star Mystic Striker student primarily employed as a Single-Target damage dealer. Her abilities primarily amplify her overall damage potential through Basic Skills, enhance Mystic Effectiveness, and boost Attack power. If you’re considering using Aris (Maid), I strongly advise investing in Unique Equipment of level 40 or 50 for optimal performance.

Kick things off by discussing Aris’ weapon type, which is a railgun. Normally, Auto Attacks are slower with this type of weapon, but that’s not really a problem because she has a high ATK stat and powerful self-buffs. Additionally, she works well with almost any kind of damage buffer thanks to her stat distribution and abilities. In raids, she is primarily used in the team known as ShiroKuro due to her high damage output and advantageous armor match-up.

Given that we understand Aris’s contributions to the team, should she be a focus for recruitment? In other words, considering her abilities within the game, does she seem like a valuable addition to your roster?

It’s tough news for B.Aris as they’re up against T.Shiroko, who aims to be the top pick for most Mystic raids. Moreover, it would be wise to strategize in advance as the forthcoming banners feature many powerful students. Some notable ones include S.Izuna, S.Shiroko, T.Shiroko, B.Hoshino, Mika, and Kisaki.

Overview

Character named Toki (Bunny), a persistent 3-star student, is classified as an Explosive Striker. This versatile character can be employed in multiple strategies. Primarily, she functions as a potent Single-Target damage inflictor thanks to her EX Skill’s substantial damage multiplier at a reasonable cost. Additionally, she acts as a Critical Damage Reduction debuffer with her Basic Skill. Like other damage dealers, Toki (Bunny) significantly profits from higher levels of Unique Equipment for the extra damage boost.

B.Toki’s Critical Damage Reduction debuff on her Basic Skill bears a resemblance to S.Izuna, but an essential distinction lies in its duration. Unlike S.Izuna who can maintain a perpetual effect once her debuff activates after 6 consecutive attacks, B.Toki operates on a 40-second activation cycle and lasts for only 30 seconds, thus creating gaps without the effect. Another aspect to consider is her high hit-count on EX Skill. This feature makes her a valuable asset in the Kaiten Torment, as it necessitates 15 hits to shatter the shield.

After learning about the abilities that Toki brings to the team, should she be considered a good choice for summoning? Well, if Toki happens to be your preferred student, then this analysis shouldn’t deter you from making the decision to summon her. Remember, it’s your game and ultimately your call.

For newer players that are just starting out, No. While B.Toki does provide strong utility with her Crit DMG RES debuff, along with respectable Single-Target damage at a low cost. Those niches are unfortunately not required or needed to help a new player progress through the general content. However, for players who want to be competitive in Kaiten Torment. Toki (Bunny) is a core pick-up, as her EX Skill is one of the few skills that can break the 15-hit shield on phase 2. However, you will want to plan ahead as the upcoming banners have a lot of strong students. A few notable mentions are S.Izuna, S.Shiroko, T.Shiroko, B,Hoshino, Mika, and Kisaki.
