Dragon and Tortoise Rerun Event Overview

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating the labyrinthine world of Blue Archive, I must say, this rerun event of “The Dragon and Tortoise ~Working Together for a Better Future~” has me both excited and slightly anxious. The limited one-week runtime is a double-edged sword – on one hand, it adds a sense of urgency that keeps things fresh; on the other, it makes it challenging to fully clear out the shop while also taking advantage of the x2 Hard Mode drop.

I’m thrilled to see that the popular event, “The Dragon and Tortoise ~Working Together for a Better Future~,” is making a comeback! It seems like it was just yesterday when we celebrated its initial run during Dead Week. This time around, I’ll be reunited with familiar faces: Mina, Rumi, Shun, and Kaho, four students who are returning to the game. Can’t wait to dive back into this exciting adventure!

Instead of the initial duration of this event, the replay will last just one week. This makes it challenging to empty the shop entirely, especially considering that there’s a double drop rate for Hard Mode throughout the week. Consequently, apportioning AP becomes crucial to capitalize on the double Hard Mode while procuring necessary items from the shop. Just like the original event run, artifacts can still be obtained by completing stages.

Shops and Card Draw

Black Tortoise Meal Ticket

The Black Tortoise Meal Ticket shop has remained the same since its initial release. The only changes are to the number of Activity Reports, which have been increased across the board. The priority for which items to buy out remains the same: prioritize Blu-rays and Artifacts first, specifically Superior and Advanced rarities. You could consider skipping Shanhaijing Blu-rays, as there are only a few students from this school, but it can never hurt to have more. Worst-case scenario, you can use them to craft Blu-ray selectors. Activity Reports should be bought if you have just started playing or need to stock up. The remaining items, such as gifts and furniture, can be skipped.

Genryumon Badge

The Genryumon Badge store has undergone some slight adjustments in its inventory. The quantities of Enhancement Stones have been boosted throughout, but rest assured, this adjustment should not alter the priority order of items. These items are regularly stocked and aren’t particularly valuable when purchased from event shops. Instead, it is recommended to prioritize purchasing Artifacts first, as they play a crucial role in elevating a student’s skill level. Since Shanhaijing students are somewhat scarce, neglecting the Tech Notes won’t cause significant harm to your gaming experience.

Solvent Extraction Set and Card Set

In summary, the format for acquiring the final event currency remains unchanged. You can get it by investing Card Sets in the Event Card store. It is particularly advantageous to focus on Pyroxenes, as they are the premium currency used for gacha and AP refreshes. Following that, you might want to consider purchasing Eligmas because they are essential for boosting your student’s rarity. Additionally, Tech Notes and Credits can be a worthwhile acquisition if you have excess currency. We advise against acquiring Saya Elephs as she has not shown significant utility since the game’s launch.
