As a fervent admirer of Daniel Zolghadri‘s acting prowess, I can’t help but be enthralled by his latest venture into the realm of horror and sci-fi with ‘The Temple’. His journey from independent films to mainstream success has been nothing short of captivating, and it seems he’s not slowing down anytime soon.

Daniel Zolghadri is particularly recognized for his performances in independent films and television series. He initially garnered recognition through his role in the 2018 film ‘Eighth Grade’, followed by his appearance as a peculiar, comic book-creating character in ‘Funny Pages’ (2022).

For our readers, however, the actor is recognizable for his role in ‘American Horror Story,’ and Prime Video’s ‘Tales from the Loop.’

As reported by Deadline, it seems that actor Zolghadri is in talks to headline a chilling new science fiction horror film titled “The Temple“. This intriguing project is the work of the Canadian writing and directing duo, Yonah Lewis and Calvin Thomas.

The upcoming independent film is yet to reveal many details, but its plot revolves around: A self-made millionaire orphaned by unknown circumstances (Zolghadri) is determined to uncover the mysteries surrounding his deceased parents in the north. To assist him in this quest, he enlists a radiation scientist who harbors skepticism about the existence of ghosts.

Katie Bird Nolan and Lindsay Tapscott, via their production company Babe Nation Films, will collaborate with Lisa Pictures, the creative team behind writing and directing, in producing the film together.

By the close of this year, viewers can catch Zolghadri in A24’s movie ‘Y2K.’ This film offers a thrilling perspective on the Y2K bug: it depicts two underdog friends gatecrashing a New Year’s Eve 1999 party, whereupon the bug makes technology rise against humanity. The film hits theaters on December 6, 2024.
