Marvel’s Upcoming Movie Slate Focuses on Avengers, Spider-Man and More

As a seasoned gamer of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), hailing from the realm of popcorn-laden movie theaters and late-night discussions about superheroes, this news leaves me both exhilarated and slightly anxious.

As an ardent fan, I’m sharing that, guided by Kevin Feige at Marvel Studios, they’ve chosen to hold off on adding any new films to their lineup for 2026 and 2027. Instead, they’re pouring all their efforts into the monumental Avengers projects they have planned.

At D23 Brasil, Feige emphasized the immense amount of planning and work required for the upcoming Avengers films, implying that we might not hear about any new developments in these movies for this year.

From April 2026 to May 2027, the release of ‘Spider-Man 4′ is scheduled for July 2026, along with the other Avengers films: ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’.

Feige pointed out that with two upcoming Avengers films on the horizon, they demand careful focus because of their impressive scale and intricate details.

2025 is a busy year for Marvel as several highly-anticipated movies are scheduled to release. Kicking off in February, we have ‘Captain America: Brave New World’. In May, fans can catch ‘Thunderbolts’, and in July, ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ will hit the screens. On the television side, the Marvel universe is set to grow with the series ‘Daredevil: Reborn’ and ‘Ironheart’.

As the MCU continues to expand, these announcements set the stage for some epic cinema.
