Zendaya and Anne Hathaway Joining Christopher Nolan’s Next Universal Film

As a seasoned gamer who has navigated countless cinematic universes, I can confidently say that this upcoming collaboration between Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, and Christopher Nolan is nothing short of epic! The reunion of Hathaway with Nolan after their successful partnership in Interstellar and The Dark Knight Rises is a testament to the power of resilience and the value of staying true to one’s craft.

Actors Zendaya and Anne Hathaway have signed on for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film at Universal Studios. Already on board are Tom Holland and Matt Damon.

On July 17, 2026, Nolan is set to both write and direct a movie that’s scheduled for release in theaters and Imax. The details surrounding the plot are currently confidential, and there has been no word from Universal regarding the cast.

This movie brings together Hathaway and Nolan once more, having previously collaborated on the 2014 space film “Interstellar” and the 2012 release “The Dark Knight Rises.” Earlier this year, Hathaway expressed her appreciation for being chosen for “Interstellar” by Nolan, as she was dealing with online criticism following her Oscar win for “Les Misérables.

According to Hathaway, many potential employers turned her down due to her controversial online presence. However, Christopher Nolan didn’t pay heed to this and offered her one of the best roles she’s ever had. Ultimately, her career managed to continue smoothly thanks to him.

Recently, Zendaya has been featured in two significant films, “Challengers” and “Dune: Part Two,” and is set to act alongside Robert Pattinson in “The Drama.” In the past, she and Tom Holland, her real-life partner, have collaborated on the Spider-Man movies. Holland is scheduled to reprise his role as Peter Parker in the upcoming Spider-Man film; however, it remains undecided if Zendaya’s character MJ will make a return.

Zendaya is managed by Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Monster Talent Management, and Granderson Rochers, whereas Anne Hathaway is handled by Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Entertainment 360, and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
