‘Agatha All Along’ Reclaims Spot on Nielsen Originals Streaming Chart, While ‘The Penguin’ Remains Missing

As a long-time Marvel enthusiast with a soft spot for quirky characters and unexpected twists, I must say that “Agatha All Along” has truly taken me by surprise! From its enchanting premise to its captivating execution, this show has proven that even the most seemingly ordinary characters can harbor hidden depths.

The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, named “Agatha All Along”, has left quite a few people astonished with its distinctive motifs. It’s managed to captivate audiences and garner significant viewership.

Based on preliminary figures from Luminate, the show garnered approximately 9.3 million views on Disney+ during its initial week. This number was lower than that of The Acolyte, but Marvel announced that it boasted the highest rate of returning viewers among any MCU series. In other words, a significant number of fans returned to watch the show each week.

Initially, Agatha All Along took many by surprise as it climbed to the 8th spot on the Nielsen Originals streaming chart from September 16 to September 22, 2024. Now, fresh data has been released, and the show has once more found a place on the list, securing the 9th position after being watched for a total of 310 million minutes between October 7-13.

From October 7th through the 13th, “Love Is Blind” was the most-watched streaming series with a total of 1.23 billion minutes viewed, trailed closely by “Outer Banks” (1.19 billion minutes) and “The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story: Monsters” (953 million minutes). In terms of acquired series, “Bob’s Burgers” took the lead with 864 million minutes watched, and for movies, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” was the most popular with 823 million minutes viewed.

Notably missing on the chart is “The Penguin,” surprisingly, as SambaTV’s data indicates it has reigned supreme on streaming charts for six uninterrupted weeks. However, predictions suggest that “Agatha All Along” will shine in the coming days, with heightened expectations following the release of its final two episodes’ viewership numbers.
