The Ultimates Recently Endured a Tragic Death Caused by The Hulk

As a gamer with over two decades of Marvel Comics under my belt, I must say that the latest turn of events in the Ultimate Universe has left me reeling. The demise of Iron Lad and the apparent rule of Hulk over K’un-Lun is a plot twist as shocking as finding out Thanos was behind it all along.

In an unexpected turn of events within the Ultimate Universe, the inaugural assembly of The Ultimates to counter The Maker’s malevolent council results in disaster instead.

Operating under the pseudonym Iron Lad, Tony Stark gathered an impressive team consisting of Wasp, Giant-Man, America Chavez, She-Hulk, and Hawkeye.

The plan to secretly invade a hidden stronghold to rescue captives swiftly turns into chaos when they stumble upon Hulk, who now commands the mystical city of K’un-Lun. Unforeseen encounters with Hulk result in heavy casualties for their group.

Upon forcing open what they thought was a detention center, the Ultimates instead encounter themselves in K’un-Lun, face to face with the Hulk.

In contrast to his Earth-616 version, this Hulk combines the fury of the green colossus with the tranquil expertise of a mystic, creating a distinctive and dangerous adversary.

In the heat of the game, things take a turn for the worse when I politely propose a truce over some tea, only to have it dismissed. In response, the Hulk unleashes his Atomic Iron Fist in a single, crushing blow, taking She-Hulk out of the fight.

The team’s attempts to resist Hulk and his troops ultimately fail, especially as Hulk delivers lethal strikes to Iron Lad, demolishing him under immense power.

Peace finally settles in when Doom, away from the operation, successfully transports the remaining Ultimates to a secure location.

Following the incident, a severely wounded She-Hulk laments the sad demise of Iron Lad, causing the team to grieve and reorganize their strategies.

Against a somber background, this devastating incident unfolds amidst forthcoming disclosures and fresh personalities in the standalone comic book, “Ultimate Universe: One Year Later“.

This storyline is set to bring on board fresh characters such as Ultimate Nick Fury and a variant of Wolverine called the Winter Soldier. It also paves the way for upcoming stories within the Ultimate Comics universe.

Author Deniz Camp intends to merge haunting narratives with captivating imagery, providing both fresh and seasoned readers an entrance into the developing stories of this altered Marvel universe.
