Unused ‘Agatha All Along’ Post-Credit Scene Hints at Exciting Future for Aubrey Plaza’s Lady Death

As a seasoned gamer and die-hard Marvel fan with over two decades of comics, movies, and shows under my belt, I must say that the latest twist in Agatha All Along left me utterly spellbound! The emotional rollercoaster that was Agatha’s storyline had me on the edge of my seat, and her selfless sacrifice for Billy Maximoff was a testament to the power of redemption.

Wrapping up not too long ago, the series “Agatha All Along” concluded with its last pair of episodes. It tied up numerous character plots and introduced intriguing prospects for more stories to unfold. The tale of Agatha reached its climax in episode 8, where she encountered a surprising turn of events.

In the penultimate episode, Agatha reluctantly acknowledges that she can’t evade Death indefinitely. In a selfless move, she decides to surrender herself, ensuring Billy Maximoff’s survival.

Fortunately for enthusiasts, Agatha makes a return, appearing in a spiritlike form. Having an infinite amount of time on her hands and unwilling to encounter her son beyond the veil, she elects to remain near Billy during his quest to locate his long-lost sibling, Tommy.

From our earlier encounter in episode 8, you may recall that Agatha and Billy successfully retrieved Tommy’s spirit from a dark realm and transferred it into the body of a boy who had met an unfortunate drowning fate. Now, Billy is aware that his brother’s spirit exists, but locating him won’t be a simple task.

Billy’s adventure with Tommy continues to unfold, and it appears that Agatha’s narrative with actress Aubrey Plaza’s character, Lady Death, isn’t finished yet either. As reported by Marvel insider MyTimeToShineHello, a deleted post-credit scene hinted at Lady Death (played by Rio Vidal) chasing after Agatha and Billy through a portal in the final episode (episode 9).

It’s noteworthy that MyTimeToShineHello has encountered both triumphs and setbacks when it comes to leaks in their history. However, they did accurately predict several key aspects of Agatha All Along, such as two significant spoilers for the final episode.

In the second scene after the credits, they opted not to include a sequence where Lady Death (or Rio) followed Ghost Agatha and Billy as they stepped through the portal.

Agatha and Rio share a murky history with some unresolved aspects. If the post-credits sequence turns out to be genuine, it leaves one pondering whether they can bury their past grudges now that they’re no longer adversaries, potentially moving forward with a fresh start.

In various upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) stories, particularly those focusing on Scarlet Witch’s arc, there’s a high chance for both characters to make an appearance. Notably, whispers suggest that Marvel Studios may be working on a solo project centered around Wiccan. Given Agatha’s newfound connection with Billy, it seems probable that Death might also factor into the narrative.
