Kelly Clarkson Takes Over Halloween By Flawlessly Transforming Into Beetlejuice

As a long-time fan of Kelly Clarkson, I must say her transformation into Beetlejuice for The Kelly Clarkson Show’s Halloween episode was nothing short of spectacular! It’s not every day you see a talk show host truly embodying a character like that, and she did it flawlessly. From the green hair to the rotten teeth, she left no crumbs unturned.

Kelly Clarkson elevated her Halloween game this year! According to People magazine, for her October 31st show, she donned a Beetlejuice costume.

According to the report, Clarkson transformed herself into Beetlejuice, complete with the famous green hair, black-and-white pinstriped suit, dark eyes, and decaying teeth. Her bandmates found her appearance rather off-putting upon seeing her and laughed at the sight, commenting that she looked “disgusting.

Instead of saying “The singer took the help of the talented glam team,” you could rephrase it as “She sought aid from a skilled style squad.” And instead of “She took the assistance of stylist Micaela Erlanger and dresser Arleisha Randle, who looked after Beetlejuice’s clothing,” you might say “Micaela Erlanger and Arleisha Randle, her talented stylists, were responsible for managing Beetlejuice’s wardrobe.” This way, the sentences maintain their original meaning while being more natural and easier to read.

Gloria Elias-Foeillet, an Emmy-nominated makeup artist, was responsible for enhancing the stronger singer’s appearance. Notably, Louie Zakarian, an Emmy-winning makeup artist and designer who heads the department at Saturday Night Live, managed the special effects makeup. Additionally, hairstylist Corey Morris and Brittany Hartman, a wigmaker at SNL, were also instrumental in shaping the singer’s overall look, assisting Clarkson.

The talk show host not only dressed up as Beetlejuice, but he convincingly portrayed the character too, according to reports. He even acted out Michael Keaton’s iconic speech from the movie, which the original Beetlejuice played. Additionally, it was said that props and sets from the film were utilized on the show, with a replica of the model city being creatively constructed.

She and the band accompanying her show, all dressed in costumes, delivered a rendition of Kellyoke, which is a song usually sung by her. It’s said that they perform a cover version of Banana Boat (Day-O), originally by Harry Belafonte. This melody was famously used in one of the scenes from a well-known production.

On the talk show, country legend Reba McEntire and her partner Rex Linn join as guests. Moreover, a fresh video is played featuring Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone engaging in an axe-throwing challenge with the host, which was part of their latest podcast, Hildy The Barback And Lake Of Fire.

For those who might not be familiar, the movie Beetlejuice premiered in 1988 under the direction of Tim Burton. Longtime fans have been eagerly waiting for its sequel, which finally hit theaters on September 6, 2024. This exciting follow-up featured a star-studded cast including Michael Keaton, Monica Bellucci, Catherine O’Hara, Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, Justin Theroux, and several other talented actors.
