Despite being uncertain if she was ready for marriage at this moment, the proposal prompted her to reconsider due to Jogia, who she described as “simply amazing, incredibly intelligent, attractive, and kind,” being the best person she’s ever encountered.

She expressed that it was very touching, she said. However, following their most memorable romantic experience, Jogia embarked on a six-month shoot in Canada. Halsey continued by mentioning that they haven’t technically been engaged yet, but he’s returning home soon, and they plan to spend quality time together then. Earlier, the singer-songwriter who uses she/they pronouns had stated that marriage wasn’t something she was keen on pursuing.

When Cooper inquired about any changes, Halsey responded briefly with “Avan.” She had never grasped the connection between marriage and love. “I was thinking, if you both feel love, then just coexist…I didn’t get it,” she explained. Yet, regarding Jogia, she felt a certain feeling and decided she wanted to marry him.

Halsey shared that her affection for him is so strong that I feel our bond would thrive regardless of marriage. Yet, this very thought stirs within me a desire to tie the knot even more,” Halsey explained. The pair were first rumored to be together in September 2023 after they were seen kissing in Los Angeles. Approximately a month later, she confirmed their relationship on Instagram.
