As a seasoned gamer and avid Marvel fan with memories of collecting comic books stacked higher than my gaming console, I can hardly contain my excitement for these upcoming animated series on Disney+! The teaser video just released has me jumping out of my seat like a certain wall-crawler himself when he sees a spider.

In 2025, Marvel will debut several exciting new animated series on Disney+, along with another season of a fan-favorite show. A recent video from Marvel Studios offers a sneak peek at all the upcoming shows and provides specific release dates and timeframes.

Initially, we’ve got the third season of What If…?, set to debut on Disney+ this Christmas 2024, specifically on December 22nd. It’s always delightful to have a captivating option to explore during those last days of the year when you can’t quite remember if it’s Monday or Saturday.

Up next is “Your Local Spider-Man,” a series that delves into Peter Parker’s origin story in an alternate universe where Norman Osborn serves as his mentor. This promising series is set to release on January 24, 2025, making it the perfect way to start off the new year!

After that, I’m eagerly anticipating a show called “Eyes of Wakanda“. This series follows a group of Wakanda warriors as they journey across the globe in search of Vibranium. As it’s produced by Ryan Coogler’s Proximity Media, you can expect nothing less than outstanding quality. The animated Marvel series will debut on Disney+ on August 6.

The upcoming animated series, titled “Marvel Zombies“, follows the storyline from its comic book counterpart and picks up where the initial episode of “What If…?” left off. Although a specific release date hasn’t been set yet, it’s slated for October 2025, making it an appropriate choice for Halloween viewing.
