Liam Payne’s debut posthumous album is set to drop soon! Following the unfortunate passing of the former One Direction member, his long-time collaborator Sam Pounds is releasing their unreleased duet “Do No Wrong” on November 1st. On October 28th, he wrote on X that he hopes this release will be a blessing to the world as Liam had always envisioned. He also added that he prays angels will comfort everyone while they listen.

Pounds clarified that aside from its intended meaning, the song would also bring comfort to Bear, the late musician’s son with ex-partner Cheryl Cole, as well as his sister Ruth Gibbins and extended family. He hopes that the music will overshadow the “unfavorable reverberations” that have recently impacted the family.

He expressed hope that a powerful, otherworldly healing force would encompass each and every one of you, he continued. Tragically, Payne met his end after falling from a third-story balcony of an Argentinian hotel, striking his head upon impact. Preliminary drug tests revealed that the singer had consumed substances, with Pink Cocaine being the most notable, a substance thought to induce hallucinations.

His passing on October 16 31 sent shockwaves across the world, which was followed by an outpouring of condolences and tributes. The Strip That Down singer’s sister shared a tribute upon his death on October 19, writing, “I’m sorry I couldn’t save you.”

In a recent letter, she expressed her thoughts that the world may not have been fair or compassionate towards you, and it seems like you’ve had to put in extra effort to overcome numerous challenges thrown your way over the past years. Furthermore, she mentioned that as a singer, your primary desire is to be loved and bring joy to others through your music.

The bandmates of Payne’s former group, One Direction – Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles – offered touching tributes following the tragic news, expressing their personal connections with the deceased singer. In response, Zayn Malik delayed his upcoming tour in the aftermath of Payne’s passing.
