He showed his excitement and additionally shared that he’s been keeping up with the spin-off of ‘WandaVision,’ titled ‘Agatha All Along.’ Bettany considers the spin-off enlightening and intends to rewatch it to better prepare for his part in the Vision series.
He expressed that he adores Jac Schaeffer’s work and feels a deep sense of pride towards her. He intends to watch it again since there’s an abundance of knowledge he can glean from it as he moves forward in his own contributions.
In a nutshell, the upcoming series, provisionally titled ‘Vision Quest,’ continues the storyline post-‘WandaVision.’ It revolves around Vision’s journey to discover his identity, as he was last seen in his white robotic body.
The role of showrunner, which was originally assigned to Jac Schaeffer, has been reassigned to Terry Matalas. However, Schaeffer remains supportive of the series and Bettany, even though she is no longer directly involved in the project’s leadership.
Excitedly speaking as a fan, I can’t help but feel my excitement grow as James Spader is set to return as the menacing Ultron from ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’ Additionally, I’m thrilled to learn that Todd Stashwick, who’s made a name for himself in ‘Star Trek: Picard’ and ’12 Monkeys,’ will be joining the cast, portraying an assassin with a target on Vision.
It’s still uncertain how much ‘Agatha All Along’ will shape the storyline of the Vision series, but Bettany suggests that upcoming spinoff reveals could significantly alter the course of his show.
There’s a lot of talk about the possibility that Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, could appear, along with hints at ties to the ‘Vision Quest’ story from the 1980s ‘West Coast Avengers’ comic series, though no concrete details have been confirmed yet.
