Rob Lowe Jokes He Was Part of a ‘Big, Big S*x Orgy’ with Demi Moore in the 80s

As an ’80s kid and a die-hard fan of both Rob Lowe and Demi Moore, I find their story to be nothing short of captivating! The Brat Pack era was a golden age for cinema, and hearing about their personal lives only adds another layer of intrigue to it all.

In the 1980s, when they were part of the Brat Pack group, Rob Lowe didn’t hesitate to discuss his brief romance with Demi Moore. Moreover, he openly shared that they have maintained a friendship throughout the years.

In an appearance on Kelly Ripa’s podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera, Lowe disclosed a short-lived romance he had with Demi Moore in the 1980s. The seasoned actor admitted to this relationship with Moore prior to her engagement to Emilio Estevez, who was also part of the Brat Pack group.

He wittily said that their hookup was part of a “big, big s*x orgy” among the cast members of St. Elmo’s Fire movie, which was released in 1985.

Following their appearance in the previous movie, these two actors then teamed up again, appearing together in “About Last Night,” a film that came out in 1986.

When asked about it, Lowe said to Ripa, “It’s unavoidable for 20-something men and women to have hookups when they’re together.” But surprisingly, there seemed to be no ill feelings between Lowe and Moore after their brief encounter. The Outsiders actor shared that they stayed friends following the fling, with Lowe even attending Moore’s wedding to her then-husband, Bruce Willis.

According to the actor’s statement, a follow-up to the 1985 classic movie is apparently being planned. He mentioned that the production is underway, but progress has been slower than desired. However, they are working diligently to find the ideal writer and storyline.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I’m thrilled to share an exclusive tidbit: our esteemed leading man has confirmed that his fellow thespians are equally enthusiastic about this exciting new project we’re embarking on together. Intriguingly, they too have given their nod of approval for this venture. We can hardly contain our shared anticipation!

From their initial entries into show business, both stars have ascended steadily towards achievement. This year, it’s Moore who has garnered attention, rightfully earned, for her impressive portrayal in The Substance, a film that made its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

In addition to Dennis Quaid, the film stars Margaret Qualley, Oscar Lesage, Hugo Diego Garcia, Alexandra Barton, and several others. This production, launched on the 20th of September, 2024, was directed by Coralie Fargeat.
